CeltiCare insurance (4.0)
is available to individuals
and families in Pennsylvania.
This product requires that the applicant be a state
resident for a mimimum of two years prior to enrollment.
Celtic Basic is a more affordable
coverage for healthy applicants. The current version of
Celtic Basic (2.1) is
available to individuals and
families in Pennsylvania. This
product requires that the applicant be a state resident
for a mimimum of two years prior to enrollment.
Celtic Saver HSA takes advantage of
the cost-saving features of a Health Savings Account.
High deductible insurance plans are comined with
optional qualified savings accounts available at no
additional cost. The current version of
Celtic Saver Health Savings
Account plan (2.1) is
available to individuals and
families in Pennsylvania. This
product requires that the applicant be a state resident
for a mimimum of two years prior to enrollment.
Celtic Short Term Medical Insurance
is available for 1 month or longer (up to a 6 or 12
month maximum) with more liberal eligibility
requirements. Short term coverage is less expensive
because it does not pay the cost of prior medical
conditions.
The current version of
Celtic STM (2.2) is available to
individuals and families in
Pennsylvania.

State-specific Variations of Coverage
CeltiCare, Celtic Saver HSA and Celtic Basic
health plans have the
following significant
variations in coverage in accordance with state law:
- Routine Nursery Charges – includes hospital charges and care rendered by a licensed medical practitioner.
- Immunizations -At specific intervals through age 20, deductible does not apply.
- Alcohol & Drug Dependency – charges for medically necessary treatment limited to the following: Inpatient Detoxification: 7 days
treatment per admission up to a lifetime maximum of 4 admissions.
- Non Hospital Residential Care: 30 days treatment per calendar year up to a lifetime maximum of 90 days. Outpatient 30 visits per
calendar year up to a lifetime maximum of 120 visits.
- Nutritional Supplements -If medically necessary for the therapeutic treatment of phenylketonuria, branched-chain ketonuria,
galactosemia and homocystinuria, deductible does not apply.
- Annual Gynecological Exam - deductible does not apply -includes pelvic exam, clinical breast exam and pap smear for women 18 years of
age and older, or any age if at risk for cancer.
